Mumbai: Rolta, a global solutions provider of information technology solutions announced the strategic acquisition of Atlanta based OneGIS, a consulting, development and systems integration firm. OneGIS delivers sophisticated geospatial consulting to infrastructure management markets including electric, gas and water utilities, telecommunications companies and local and regional governments.
In addition to gaining a consulting track-record, Rolta has acquired the company's intellectual property, including the OneView Mobile solution, to enrich its portfolio of IP. This work-focused, asset-centric mobile GIS application allows field personnel to apply specific work-related actions to help automate their daily work assignments through its unique, user configurable, Action Framework. OneView Mobile is already operational in several large utilities and telecoms within the North American market.
