MUMBAI: Reliance Infocomm plans to launch pre-paid services for its limited mobility (WLL) phone service over the next two months. This was announced by chairman Mukesh Ambani while addressing shareholders at the AGM today. Ambani also announced that Reliance has struck oil in a block off the Yemen coast. The discovery is expected to be equivalent to about half of Reliance's share of crude oil from the Panna, Mukta, Tapti offshore fields in the Bombay High region, he added. Ambani also said Reliance had estimated an annual revenue of Rs 10,000 crore, at current prices, from the gas reserves at its deep-sea block in the Krishna Godavari basin off Andhra Pradesh. "Less than 20% of the KG basin D6 block area has been explored," he said.
