Pramati enters strategic alliance with Savvion

HYDERABAD: Pramati Technologies, a J2EE products company, has announced the availability of Pramati Server 3.5, an enhanced release of its application server that delivers higher performance and superior manageability for production applications. With this, Pramati has become the first application server to reach compliance to J2EE 1.3 standard. Jay Raghavendra Pullur, founder and chief executive officer, said, “Our goal is to provide the best-fit product for mid-tier requirements. Although budget-constrained, IT managers cannot compromise on features, performance or scability.” The product sells as a lower cost alternative to WebLogic Server from BEA Systems and WebSphere Server from IBM. Meanwhile, Pramati and Savvion Inc., a provider of business process management solutions, announced a strategic technology and marketing alliance that will provide the latter’s customers with a flexible, integrated business process management solution. Savvion will integrate and ship Pramati Server.
