Petronet LNG Q4 profit surges 112 percent

Mumbai: India's largest liquified natural gas importer Petronet LNG said Tuesday its net profit more than doubled to 
206.27 crore in the fourth quarter of 2010-11.
The company has posted a net profit of 206.27 crore (2062.75 million) for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 as compared to 97.29 crore (972.92 million) for the corresponding quarter of the previous year, Petronet LNG said in a statement.
For the entire fiscal 2010-11, the company's net profit rose to 619.61 crore
from 404.49 crore during the previous year.
