Perot Systems expands Indian operations
Bangalore: Perot Systems, an IT services and business solutions company has opened its sixth major office in India in Hyderabad. The 24,000-square-foot facility is part of Perot's global delivery network which links IT services and business process specialists in the U.S., Asia Pacific, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Latin America. "Similar to our engineering-services delivery centers in the U.S., the Hyderabad office will use methodologies that would help our clients bring new products to market more quickly through accelerated product-development cycles," said Steve Curts, President, Perot Systems Commercial Solutions group. The Hyderabad based team provides services like heavy equipment design and analysis, as well as engineering change management and manufacturing support. The new facility in Silicon Towers at Hi-tech City can accommodate around 250 associates. "Our Hyderabad facility can support clients anywhere in the world, and it will also enhance our business development activities with India-based companies. With access to a well-qualified engineering workforce, this facility will provide strong leadership and world-class services to our clients," said Anurag Jain, President, Perot Systems Applications and Process Solutions group and Managing Director, Asia Pacific region.
