Oracle India launches 'Standard Edition One' for SMEs

NEW DELHI: Database software company, Oracle India Pvt Ltd on Wednesday announced the launch of Oracle Standard Edition One in India for SMEs and departments of large enterprises.
Standard Edition One is a single processor version of Oracle Standard Edition database offered at Rs 2.81 lakh, a company release said.
Standard Edition One is also available with Named User Plus licensing at Rs 9150 per user with a minimum of five users and with this, customers can get the database software for under Rs 50,000 in licence fees, it said.
"It provides smaller organisations and partners a world-class database at an attractive price, Oracle India MD Sekhar Dasgupta said.
