Mumbai: These days there are very few Bollywood movies with no visual effects in them. This increasing demand has invariably driven companies that cater to this filed. And gaming graphic chipmakers, Nvidia is now looking at Digital Content Creation (DCC) in Bollywood. The company, along with several other partners from the animation industry, announced the launch of "Digital Bollywood Initiative" aimed at enabling India as a Digital Content Creation powerhouse. This has led the company to announce a ramp up in its India headcount from the current 650 to more than 1000. Nvidia is not just a chip design company. That is only one part of it. Now, we want to broaden our focus into animation and visual effects in India, said Alain Tiquet, Group Director,Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.
