New Temple opened in California on Diwali eve

California: Another enhancement to the cultural affluence of California, the grand opening of Gayatri Chetana Center in Anaheim, was celebrated on the auspicious day of Diwali, along with rich gestures of Lakshmi and Chopda poojan, reports Desi Talk. The recently erected temple includes a 20-feet high Shikhar on top of the building with 32 decorative columns, arches, toran etc. To add to the attraction of its magnificent sculpture is the specially designed entrance door with Dwarpal - guards in the front. The center also held several other programs to observe the festive season including the lighting of 1,008 lamps. Annakoot darshan was arranged by more than 100 devoted women. The subsequent day witnessed more than 1,000 people who participated in a special all-day yagna. Gayatri Mata poojan along with guru poojan of Gurudev Pandit Shri Ram Sharma Acharya and Mata Bhagwatidevi Sharma also continued all over the day.
