siliconindia launched its innovative event-networking tool: NETGENIE at a SI Event yesterday. Netgenie is a web-based tool that helps SI Event attendees to familiarize themselves with other attendees of SI Events, and also pre-plan to meet at the networking hour that normally precedes any event.

SANTA CLARA, CA: "Over 100 people who attended the SI Event : Technology Redefines Entertainment, had access to see who were the other attendees coming to the event. They could simply click and send e-mail requests to meet, express interest and pre-plan their meeting at the event," says Harvi Sachar, Editor-in-Chief at siliconindia. Ajay Chopra, co-founder of Pinnacle Systems (NASDAQ: PCLE) kicked off the event with an in-depth keynote speech on workflows involved in digital content capture and creation. Ravin Agrawal, a partner at the East West Venture Group moderated the panel discussion. More than 50 people used the system and could easily gain full benefit of their networking needs during the SI Event. "We plan to launch a full-fledged version before the Annual Conference on November 16, and welcome all our subscribers to register for the event and on Network Genie, to gain great benefit in networking with mentors, speakers, industry experts, VCs and others who will be attending the conference," says Mona Sharma, CEO.
