Netgear unveils switches for SMBs in Middle East

Bangalore: Netgear, a global provider of networking and storage products, has unveiled a new category of configurable switches in the Middle East, which has been designed to allow regional SMBs build better networks to address their growing network needs, reports the Middle East Company News.
The new 'ProSafe Plus Switch' family of switches utilizes 'green' Ethernet features, which reduces the power required to operate, save money and lessen environmental impact. The FS116E is the first 16-port Fast Ethernet on the market with such Green Ethernet features. The switch comes in a sturdy metal case with a fan-less design for silent operation.
