Nano on display from today

Mumbai: The much awaited small car sensation Nano will appear in the showroom nearby you from April 1, 2009. Expecting maximum booking, the top end Nano variant will be displayed at dealership across the country.
Meanwhile, the booking process has already been announced and it could be booked throughout India during the April 9 to 26 period. The delivery of the Nano car is expected to be within the next three months.
It is believed all one-lakh lucky customers would be able to get their Nanos by June 2010. The company, through a random selection process, would select these customers who would get the car at the current price.
Pantnagar plant has a capacity to manufacture 50,000 cars per annum, while the capacity would go up to 2.5 lakh units once the Sanand plant starts by December.
