Mu Sigma to invest $5M in India

BANGALORE: Mu Sigma, a Chicago based analytics services company said it will invest $5 million in India over the next 18 months. The company will double headcount and create a state of the art facility that can accommodate 250 people, said Dhiraj Rajaram, CEO and founder. “Our mission is to help client partners deeply embed the use of sophisticated quantitative techniques on their data. Our scientific community, which consists of practioners form leading educational institutions in the U.S. enables us to deploy cutting edge analytics for our clients cost effectively,” he said. He said over the next three years, Mu Sigma would build a 500 person organization that will serve about 15 clients. Each of these clients will have a unit of about 30 analysts who will form an offshore analytics center of expertise.
