MobiApps to manufacture of wireless devices

NEW DELHI: MobiApps India, a fully owned subsidiary of the U.S.-based MobiApps Inc, is likely to kick-off contract manufacturing of M Track and other wireless communication devices through an Indian toll manufacturer. The company was established in India to provide chip-designing services to its parent company. “Now, approval was sought for toll manufacture of M Track and other wireless communication devices by providing technology support to the toll manufacturer through MobiApps India and distribution of the same either directly or through the marketing joint venture companies, in India,” the company sources said. The operations would be based on technology and support provided by MobiApps Singapore or its subsidiaries to the toll manufacturer for manufacturing the devices. MobiApps India would sell the entire manufactured product exclusively to the joint venture companies, which would distribute these devices in the Indian market under their brand name.
