Bangalore: Taking advantage of its ongoing association with Facebook , Microsoft is incorporating expansion of various features onto its Bing search engine which will display data from facebook. This is Microsoft new strategy to capitalize on the ever increasing demand of facebook and to offer something that is not available in Google . A new version of toolbar will be introduced by Bing which will include a universal facebook button through which you can witness a whole new experience of search and will enable you to like any website, article you want. Bing will now showcase which is the search result liked most by your friends. This will be visible with thunder nail of like below the link that has been liked by your friends. This will definitely lift up the quality of searching as whatever you search for, the content that has been liked by your friends will come up. Thus the articles which get more number of likes will surface on the first page which normally used to come on third or fourth page. Stefan Weitz, a director of Bing at Microsoft said that it the first ever step in the evolution of how search can become more human. Moreover if a search result do not have any likes from your friends but has some kind of profile presence on facebook, Bing will provide that update to you. Apart from the above criteria Bing has also made shopping and travelling interesting. We can now share shopping list and travel search sections with friends. Bing will become more conversational as it will show who among your friends live in Paris or New York whenever you search for such destination, thereby making it convenient to click through those friends pages to interact with them.
