Bangalore: The software giant Microsoft has started a new argument. Now they say the Android based Smartphones made by Motorola mobility use the technology developed from Microsoft inventions. The trial started before the international trade commission in Washington. Microsoft says that Motorola mobility has infringed 7 of its patents and has asked for a pause in importing of few models of Motorola phones. The ITC has the rights to stop the import if that breaches the U.S. patent rights. The Motorola mobility has been defending itself justifying they have not violated any patent and Microsoft says they are into patent attack business. The Microsoft has total confident that ITC would make a decision favoring them. This is not the first case. The Smartphone disputes have been heard since August 15. It was the time when Google was to acquire Motorola mobility for $12.5 billion and obtain the patents which can be a barricade against the gush of lawsuits. Their main targets were the handsets and the tablet computers that use Google android operating system. Microsoft has requested the agency to block the import of their Motorola phones, droid 2, droid X, Cliq XT, Devour, Backflip and charm. Theodore Essex, the administrative law judge will be releasing his findings on the case by November 4 2011 and the total investigation will be completed by March 5 2011. The California based Google; Mountain View which was not brought into the case has accused Microsoft of revealing the Google source code to the Microsoft expert without first letting the Google know. But the administrative judge denies it as Google didn't provide the authentic information.
