Max New York expands presence in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: Max New York Life Insurance, one of India's leading insurance companies, strengthened its presence in Kerala by opening its general office here.
This is the seventh branch in Kerala that began functioning here Tuesday.
Rajender Sud, the company's senior vice-president (agency)-west and south, said Max New York wanted people to view insurance as a financial protection and wealth creation instrument and not just a tax-saving tool.
"An ever expanding presence of Max New York offices across India reinforces our commitment to serving the nation and we feel opening an office in Thiruvananthapuram would help us educate people about the true potential and benefits of life insurance," said Sud.
Max New York has established a countrywide network of 233 offices across 155 cities.
Max New York, which has till date sold over 2.1 million policies and recorded a sum assured of over 
620 billion, has over 30,500 agent advisors.
The company is a joint venture between Max India Ltd and New York Life, a Fortune 100 company.
