Government's incapability to handle the high profile scams has raised the level of aggression among the common people. Manmohan Singh is reputed as an unusually honest politician, but this reputation lost its luster after the 2G scam and Commonwealth Games scandal. The Anti-corruption protest from Anna Hazare also highlighted government's weak approach towards handling pressure. The high-profile hunger strike of Hazare created a hullabaloo all over India. Had government been quick enough to come up with negotiations with Hazare, the situation would not have taken such a huge shape. As corruption is almost at all level in India, the protest attracted the masses into rallies. The crisis management team of the centre government failed to anticipate its success and the public power. Managers should be capable enough to foresee any kind of crisis coming his way.
