Korean cabling major enters India

CHENNAI: Korea-based Daeeun Electronics Korea (DEK) has launched its entire range of structured cabling products in India. It has appointed Chennai-based Futurecalls Technology Pvt Ltd as its exclusive distributor for India. In the structured cabling, DEK will be launching in India the gate series and wiring management system, fiber optic cabling solution, shield PCB mount type, ADCL terminal block, telephone accessory, modular jack, modular plug and DEK wiring management system drawing. According to Futurecalls MD, T Jaganathan, DEK is the market leaders in Korea and is doing some OEM projects in China and Australia. "We are very much optimistic about DEK for it is equally competitive in quality and has an attractive pricing as compared to the competitors in India," he added. For the coming financial year, the company is targeting $2,00,000 from the product sale. As a marketing strategy, Futurecalls is in the move to appoint 50 system integrators throughout India. Simultaneously, it would also be looking at stock and sale channel partners. Currently, Futurecalls has an office in Bangalore and channel partners in Delhi and Hyderabad.
