Bangalore: The Indian media is buzzing around with headlines, 'Do we need an Anna for every big reform?,' 'Global media all in praise for Anna.' Anna's fight against corruption has not only been limited to media and its people, but also the tech world is cashing on this big event by venturing into apps and games on Anna. Anna Hazare, the social activist who once contemplated suicide is bestowing the purpose of existence for the gen next. This man who hailed from an army background has achieved many milestones in his career like Padma Bhusan and because of which the world media is covering each and every step by this person with acute scrutiny. Anna Hazare's name is being echoed all over India and he is being viewed as the only beacon of hope that India has today against the spreading cancer of corruption in the country.

Anna started his first step towards Jan Lokpal bill on 5th April 2011 in Jantar Mantar, Delhi, where the 72-year-old demanded enactment of an anti-corruption bill to give wider powers to the Ombudsman by bringing judiciary and PM under its purview. His first innings of fast saw huge emergence of support from people from all folks of life, statements from opposition specially came flooding the media where Gadkari, the BJP spokes person stated that Hazare's demand on Lokpal 'reasonably correct.' Four days after he launched a fast that caught the imagination of India, iconic Gandhian leader Anna Hazare declared "victory" when the Government accepted his demands of drafting a Lokpal. The drafting committee was formed and the bill was introduced in the parliament where the Lokpal bill been passed, however the Government very cleverly passed its own version keeping Anna draft away and kept the Prime Minister out of the bill. This raged team Anna and he declared for a second term of fast to start from 16th August 2011.
