Infosys, Wipro, ICICI Bank in Forbes list

NEW YORK: Two of the largest Indian software services companies Infosys Technologies and Wipro and ICICI Bank are the three Indian companies that have figured in the list of 50 fabulous Asian firms compiled by Forbes magazine.
Forbes magazine chose companies with at least $5 billion in revenue or market value and about 500 made the grade to meet the magazines definition of "big."
Out of them, 50 were chosen on the basis of the best aggregate score for long-term profitability, sales and earnings growth as well as projected earnings and stock price gains.
Forbes said Infosys Technologies has a market value of $14.7 billion and its sales are $1.6 billion. While Wipro is worth $11.7 billion and sales are about $1.9 billion. Indias second largest bank ICICI Bank has a market value of $8.1 billion and sales worth $ 3.9 billion. However none of the Indian companies found a place among the top 10.
