India's exports rise by 37 percent to $246 Billion in FY'11

New Delhi: Regardless of the financial problems in Europe, India's exports have touched $29.1 billion, a growth of 43.9 percent in March. The fiscal 2010-11 has got ended with growth of 37.1 percent at $245.9 billion Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma has released the trade figures in New Delhi on Tuesday. He told that exports have done well in the past fiscal. Exports had suffered in 2009-10 and at a mere $178 billion under the impact of global slowdown and the government had to intervene to help the exporters through different bailout packages.
