India's Dodsal bidding for $26-M Oman gas project

ABU DHABI: India's Dodsal company is among the nine firms vying for a $26 million project to build Pressure Reduction Terminal (PRT) at Sohar port in Oman, Xinhua reports. The project by the state-run Oman Gas Company (OGC), will involve construction of a terminal with a capacity of controlling the pressure of 21 million cubic meters of natural gas each day. The terminal will be the biggest of its kind in Oman, and will ensure pressure for the existing pipeline, which will feed several projects in the Sohar industrial area, according The Khaleej Times daily. Athens-based Consolidated contracting Company, local companies Arabian Industries, Oman Construction Company, Al Hassan Engineering Company, Galfar Engineering & Contracting and Gulf Petrochemical Services and Trading are also in the race for the contract, the paper said.
