Indian Oil to bid for marketing assets in Thailand

MUMBAI: The board of directors of state-run Indian Oil Corp (IOC) has approved a move to bid for marketing assets of an oil firm in Thailand, the company said in a notice to the Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday. "The board of the company at its meeting held on April 28, 2004 had accorded approval for submitting expression of interest for acquiring marketing assets of an oil company in Thailand which has been offered for sale," it said.
