I-mate launched in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: With the launch here of the PDAL, the latest phone from I-mate, the company has reinforced its thrust in the southern region. The Wi-Fi enabled phone offers push-e-mail, as opposed to pull e-mail, which only download the e-mails when manually commanded. 4G Mobiles Retailing and Broadband Services, a Delhi-based firm distributes the company’s devices in India. I-mate products are available across 700 outlets in the country. "We are planning to take our products to the masses. Soon, e-mails, chat and business communication applications will be a common need. We hope to target the manager-level executives in various corporates with our business smart phones," said Pankaj Mohindroo, Chairman, I-mate. The Indian market for Windows based mobile devices is expected to rise by over 70 per cent.
