HDFC Bank clocks 
4.64 Bn first quarter profit

Mumbai: The country's second largest private bank, HDFC Bank, has posted a net profit of 
4.64 billion in the first quarter this fiscal, as compared to 3.21 billion in the corresponding period last year.
Its total income stood at 42.15 billion, as compared to 26.41 billion in the first quarter last year.
In mid-afternoon trade Monday, the HDFC scrip was trading at 1,130 - up 2.85 from its previous close.
