HCL Technologies chooses IBM's software

BANGALORE: HCL Technologies (HCLT) has chosen to implement IBMÂ’s Tivoli Suite of products to raise the performance benchmark for enterprise-wide infrastructure management within the organization. This implementation will help enhance cost-effectiveness of HCLTÂ’s Infrastructure management by transforming their processes; saving time and cutting IT costs, while improving security. Earlier this year, HCLT also partnered with IBM Rational to strengthen its software development capabilities.
The implementation of key modules from the Tivoli Suite would also help HCLT in developing Tivoli skill base, enhance their Services portfolio and drive sales. The integrated view created by the Tivoli methodology, will allow HCLT to identify and address problems before they happen by providing an end-to-end view of the application. The integrated view of the environment will allow HCLT to interpret the information in the context of their business goals. This investment is aimed at enhancing the delivery of Service Level Agreements and making compliance easy.
