GDR MEDIA clocks impressive growth

BANGALORE: GDR MEDIA LTD, a Bangalore based IT Enabled Services Company has reported impressive results for the quarter ended 31st December 2002. Sales for the quarter ended 31st December 2002 was Rs 205.96 lacs as compared to Rs 52.33 lacs in the corresponding period in the previous year, showing a growth of 290%.
Sales for the 9 month period ending 31st December 02 stood at 
1101.99 lacs as against 332.64 lacs for the corresponding period in the previous year, a jump of over 230 percent. The Profit After Tax leapfrogged to 448.05 lacs against 69.91 lacs during the same period in the previous year, showing a growth of 540%.
Company chairman and managing director G.Dhananjaya Reddy said "The company continues to concentrate on IT Enabled Services segment keeping in view the great potential in this area apart from the other major area of Multimedia activities. Further we have opened an office in the US West Coast, to capture overseas business and the company has a healthy order book position."
