Fujifilm launches FinePix S1500 digital camera in India
Bangalore: Fujifilm has launched FinePix S1500 in India. Keeping in mind the advanced amateur photographers, the 10 megapixel FinePix S1500 has features which includes Fujinon 12x optical zoom, Face Detection technology with automatic red-eye removal, Dual Image Stabilization, ISO levels of up to ISO 6400 and a brand new Tracking Auto Focus function "Fujifilm FinePix S1500 offers great range and flexibility and will definitely wow the Indian photography enthusiasts. Like all FinePix S-series digital cameras, the FinePix S1500 includes Fujifilm's Dual Image Stabilization and SR AUTO modes to easily provide the best quality picture with increased clarity and sharpness, even in low light conditions," said Kenichi Tanaka, Managing Director, Fujifilm India. The FinePix S1500 features an internal memory of 52MB. It is also designed for lower power consumption with a 300 shot battery life using AA Batteries and up to 700 shot battery life with AA Lithium batteries. Fujifilm has developed technology to automatically identify and recognize different scenes - portrait, backlight portrait, night portrait, landscape, night and macro. Once the scene in the frame has been detected, the camera will optimize the settings to capture high quality images. It also has micro thumbnail view which shows up to 100 thumbnails on the back of the large 2.7" LCD screen. "Fujifilm's S series range has proved to be extremely popular both in the Indian market and worldwide. Our new FinePix S1500 digital camera is a Long Zoom Camera with high quality features ideal for the active family. Keeping the Indian market in mind the product is priced at 15,499.
