FCG India achieves Level 5 Certification

BANGALORE: FCG Software Services India Pvt Ltd, the wholly owned subsidiary of the US based First Consulting Group (NASDAQ: FCGI) has announced that it has been assessed at Level 5, the highest level of the Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) of the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. The external assessment was conducted by the Quality Assurance Institute of India. FCG India has been assessed for CMMI Level 5 for design, development and maintenance of software provided by its Bangalore center. Using the CMMI framework, organizations benefit from improved internal business processes that increase quality, productivity and decrease cycle times, while stimulating learning and growth. “With CMMI Level 5, we are now among a small group of elite software development organizations in the world.
