Emirates on a hiring spree: To recruit around 4K

New York: Dubai's Emirates airline is set to organize a series of open day recruitment sessions at various cities across the globe, to support the fast growth of the airline. Through its global recruitment method, Emirates intends on giving employment to 3,000 cabin crews and 700 pilots in the next 18 months. The recruits will be provided with facilities of medical care and state of art facilities. The 120 nationalities crew of Emirates converse in 80 languages and serve as the fastest expanding network across 100 destinations around the globe. Candidates for cabin crew are selected from 60 countries. The recruitment drive will be become one of the prominent forces behind the aviation industry's success. The event will be covered in four days in the U.S. across Miami, Houston, Seattle and San Francisco. The following are the venues - Crown Plaza Miami International Airport,(19th June), Four Seasons Hotel Houston(26th June), the Hotel Deca Seattle (10th July) and the San Mateo Marriot. Emirates five new destinations would include Tokyo, Amsterdam, Prague, Madrid and Dakar. At present, Emirates announced a Group net profit of $1.1 billion - a record increase of 248 percent over the previous financial year. Last week, the airline announced an order of 32 additional A380 aircraft, taking the total firm order to 90 super-jumbos.
