Embedded Linux and J2ME seminar series in Bangalore

BANGALORE: Singapore-based Kenoir Embedded Systems Centre (KESC) is partnering with eACT Technologies and Systemlogic, India, to hold a two four-day hands-on technology workshops on Embedded Linux and J2ME on July 8-11th and July 14-17th respectively. Dr. Kenneth Ong, founder of KESC, who is an expert in embedded systems development, consulting and training, will be conducting the workshop. The workshops would also see showcasing of products and new offerings by IBM, Sun, Wind River, The Tao Group, MontaVista Linux, Metrowerks, Tilcon and Mobile Computing Technologies. Dr. Kenneth Ong said, "Today, developers have to grapple with several challenges including cost, small-footprint computing, connectivity issues and the need for innovation. They have to understand the tools, building blocks and the best design practices for successful embedded development. These workshops would equip them adequately to address these challenges." SystemLogic Solutions, a subsidiary of Helios and Matheson Information Technology Ltd., has conducted over 400 training programs in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai besides Singapore, Middle East, Indonesia, Pakistan, Nepal and Thailand abroad.
