Mumbai: Domestic demand and an increasing expenditure, especially from the manufacturing sector are likely to play major role in the growth of India's economy. Chanda Kochhar, CEO and Managing Director, ICICI Bank said, "The manufacturing sector has been widening its capital expenditure and manufacture capex is improving. It is a good sign for the economy." "Credit demand is also perking up and there is a pick-up in bank disbursals as well," added Kochhar.
