Delta Airlines implements Kale Apex software

MUMBAI:Delta Air Lines Inc. has implemented Kale's APEX as part of an enterprise revenue processing transformation. APEX is used to prorate unique, complex Special Prorate Agreements (SPA)-based revenue transactions as they flow through Delta's industry-leading Revenue Pipeline System. SPAs are contracts between interlining airlines, which specify revenue allocation (including revenue allocation related to codesharing). APEX was selected by Delta after a detailed "Proof of Concept" exercise validating the accuracy and throughput of proration. Specialists from Kale have been working closely with the Delta team, providing the business consultancy and project management skills essential to the system's successful launch.
