D-Link launches DFW-100i SOHO/SME security device

MUMBAI: D-Link has launched its locally designed and developed DFW-100i the SOHO/SME device. With the growing concerns over network security, denial of service attack and privacy demands, D-Link’s Firewall provides the assurance of a dedicated network security solution in a single device. The DFW-100i is a new generation layer-3 security product that provides comprehensive protection for corporate network. DFW-100i is an application security gateway device providing key security technologies into a dedicated platform designed for high performance and reliability. DFW-100i is a cost effective, high performance Firewall plus VPN solution targeted at the banking and financial sector as well as SME. The new DFW-100i Firewall network security appliance is an easy-to-deploy VPN and firewall solution designed for small to medium businesses that demand superior performance and security. This device is a powerful hardware firewall solution that provides integrated Network Address Translation (NAT), as well as Virtual Private Network (VPN) support. The DFW-100i hardware firewall includes a trusted LAN port, a WAN port that supports virtually all WAN firewall connection types, and an independent DMZ port to support local servers such as e-mail, Web, and FTP. D-Link’s scalable Security Appliance platform is based on Intel Xscale® architecture and uses iGateway Software from Intoto. The DFW-100i Firewall is priced at Rs 19,500.
