Cyrca gets new MD for India

TORONTO: Cyrca Solutions Ltd. today announced the expansion of its leadership team with the appointment of A. Vijayarajan as Managing Director, India. Vijayarajan has more than 25 years of experience in the technology markets in Asia and North America. Prior to joining Cyrca, he was Chief Executive, Technology and Delivery of Wipro Health Science in India, where he played a key role in setting up the health care IT services business for the company. Before his tenure at Wipro Health Science, Vijayarajan also held senior positions at GE Medical Systems in Wisconsin, US and at HP India Software Operations. As Vice President of Software Development at GE Medical Systems, Vijayarajan managed the development and launch of a number of clinical applications. He was also in charge of the company's Software Six Sigma initiative. "Vijay brings a wealth of global experience and technical knowledge to Cyrca. He will be invaluable to our clients in India and around the world." Vijayarajan is responsible for the expansion of Cyrca in India and Asia. He will also provide support for the company's global projects. "The technology market in India is growing tremendously and will provide Cyrca with significant business opportunities," said Mr. Vijayarajan. "I am excited to be part of Cyrca. My goal is to extend Cyrca's reach beyond North America to establish a global IT and business process consulting company."
