Bangalore: The search engine giant Google has declared the launch of its third Doodle4Google competition 2011 in India. The company has invited children to doodle their dreams on Google India home page. The winning doodle will be featured on Children's Day in the company's home page. The contest is open to children aged 5 to 16 years. The theme of this year's Doodle4Google is 'India's gift to the world'. The original Google Doodler, Dennis Hwang will judge the contest among 45 shortlisted finalists. The contest will have participants divided into three categories - 1st to 3rd standard, 4th to 6th standard and 7th to 10th standard. Top Indian art schools will select the top 200 entries from each category, which will be reviewed by a panel of judges. The judges will then shortlist 15 doodles from each category, bringing it down to 45 final doodles. The final entries will be exhibited for public voting. Based on the number of votes, one winner from each category will be selected. Each of the winners will receive a technology starter kit including a laptop and a year's Internet connection.
