NEW DELHI: Jumbo group Chairperson Vidya Chhabria figures in the list of 50 most powerful women in international business, according to the latest issue of Fortune magazine. This is third time in succession that Chhabria has been featured in the coveted list of 50 most powerful women of the world, a Jumbo group statement said. The only other woman from the Indian sub-continent to find place in the ranking titled 'International Power 50' is Unilever Pakistan Chairperson Musharaf Hai. The International Power 50 features women who have an operating role in businesses outside the US, which also includes women based in the US and run overseas divisions. "The 56-year-old Chhabria, who divides her time between India and Dubai, became Chairman two years ago after the death of her husband. This year she resolved a 20-year-old business dispute with UB Group, India's largest brewer, over ownership of liquor maker Shaw Wallance," the release said quoting the magazine.
