Cadence vision for electronic design at CDNLive! India 2008

Bangalore: Cadence Design Systems (I), a subsidiary of Cadence Design Systems, an innovator in electronic design hosted the fourth annual CDNLive! India in Bangalore as a part of the company's global series of user group conferences. CDNLive! India features in-depth technical sessions on various aspects of electronic design, and draws participation from leading semiconductor, embedded systems and design services firms. Participants include AMD, ARM Embedded Systems, ClearSpeed, Cosmic Circuits, Freescale Semiconductor, HCL Technologies, Intel, Juniper Networks, Mindtree Consulting, National Semiconductor, NXP, Texas Instruments, Rambus, ST Microelectronics, Satyam and Wipro. "Increasing system complexity poses enormous challenges," said Ted Vucurevich, Chief Technology Officer, Cadence. "Cadence users are riding the wave of design innovation with unique solutions for power management, modeling, verification management, and software as a service, bringing their design ideas to life." Cadence also announced that the team from IIIT Hyderabad was the winner of its annual design contest for the engineering student community. The contest invited participation from undergraduate and graduate students (B. Tech and M. Tech) from over 120 institutions that use Cadence technologies as part of the company's University program in India.
