CSC appoints Bala Mahadevan as President of India Operations

Bangalore: Computer Sciences Corporation announced Bala Mahadevan as President of CSC’s India operations. Replacing Tom Kenyon, who has been interim President for the past 12 months, Mahadevan will be responsible for the financial and operational performance of the business unit, application management and remote infrastructure services within the region. He will report to Mary Jo Morris, President of CSC’s Global Transformation Services business unit. “Bala is a seasoned executive with 23 years of experience in the IT industry,” said Morris. “His experience and strategic leadership skills will strengthen CSC’s ability to build strategic relationships and deliver results to clients.” Mahadevan joins CSC from Hewlett Packard GlobalSoft, where he was director of global delivery and application services. Prior to this, he worked for DEC and Compaq in marketing, sales, business development and program management, and for Covansys and TCS in operations and software development. Mahadevan has a bachelor of engineering degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India.
