CA appoints Anthony Lim as security brand director

SINGAPORE: ComputerAssociates International, Inc. (NYSE: CA) has named Anthony Lim as Brand Director, Security, Asia South. In his new role, Lim will be responsible for heading up the company's newly set up security business unit to drive our eTrusttechnologies and services into the region. Based in Singapore, he will report to Piti Pramotedham, CA's managing director, Asia South. "Focused on addressingour customers' security challenges, we will be ramping up our eTrust efforts in Asia South and we kick-start that by tapping on Anthony's wide ranging background and expertise in the security industry," said Pramotedham. "We believe the newsecurity business unit will continue to provide customers with world-class eTrust technologies and bring our brand to greater visibility." Limis known for having started the Asia Pacific operations for Check Point Software in 1996and doubled the business year on year thereon. Lim is a well recognized figure in the security industry.
