Bharti Telesoft buys Jataayu software

Bangalore: Bharati Telesoft, a provider of integrated VAS solutions for mobile operators, has announced the acquisition of Bangalore based Jataayu Software, a WAP and mobile handset applications player. According to a company release the acquisition was part of the Bharti Telesoft's growth strategy, which is focused on strengthening its service offerings in new and existing markets. The company denied disclosing value of the deal. With the acquisition Bharti Telesoft will now have a presence in 14 countries worldwide. Jataayu's current management team will continue to work within the combined company and its MD Mahesh Jain will continue in an advisory role for the coming year.
