BenQ introduces 2 new short throw projectors

BenQ, a manufacturer of digital network devices and projectors, has announced the launch of its short throw projector series today with the release of two new models - the MP512 ST and MP522 ST. The projectors facilitate projection from a short distance so that limited space is not a constraint for big-screen viewing pleasure. Unlike regular projectors, BenQ's short throw projectors MP512 ST and MP522 ST can be used in small meeting rooms and halls, thereby making it suitable for use in departmental stores, showcase displays, banks, hospitals and small business houses etc. The stylish, sleek snow-white design compliments any decor. BenQ MP512 ST with two integrated 5-watt speakers, comprehensive connectivity including future-proof HDMI, 2200 ANSI lumens and 2500:1 contrast ratio, make it perfect for home entertainment. BenQ MP512 ST and MP522 ST projector's short-throw ratio lens projects a picture of size 55" from a distance of one meter with a throw ratio of 0.9:1 while standard throw projectors project only approx 30". The projectors' other features include presentation timer, quick auto search, quick cooling, panel key lock, security password, onscreen FAQs, wall color correction, blackboard mode and 11 preset picture modes facilitate color and image optimization.
