Bangalore Entrepreneur Develops Website to Track Missing Kids


Sharad Sharma, one of the founders of software product association iSpirt and a former head of Yahoo's Research and Development operations in India, said that to finish up the task, an entrepreneur has been assigned, without disclosing any further details of the person given the task. He further added that they will also be offering the government the options for funding the project and hopefully the parents would not be m ore troubled by paying hefty amounts in order to get back their children, reports TOI.

There have been many non-government organizations funding the current online websites to track the missing children. One among it is the ‘Missingchildsearch.net’, initiated by Don Bosco National Forum for the Young At Risk and in association with UNICEF. They also have an alternate website, Childmiss.org. Apart from the various privately funded available websites, even there’s a government’s portal, trackthemissingchild.gov.in.

With Bangalore taking keen interesting on developing a new portal for the lost and found children, this initiative will reunite the children with the estranged family and will see a new phase with proper improvising.
