The state-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) said Monday it had bagged a 740-million order for supplying hydro generating equipment for a 60-megawatt (MW) power project in Mizoram.

NEW DELHI: The project, commissioned by the state utility North East Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) and funded by the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, will generate electricity in a 53-metre water head of the river Tuirial, a BHEL statement said Monday.
