Avaya to make open offer for Tata Telecom

MUMBAI: Avaya Mauritius Ltd, together with Avaya Inc and Avaya International, is making an open offer for 20 per cent of Tata Telecom at a price of Rs 220 per share, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) said on Monday. This follows an agreement by Avaya to purchase 25.1 per cent in Tata Telecom at a price of Rs 220 per share from India's diversified Tata group, the BSE said. The offer opens on May 13 and closes on June 11.
