Automated Workflow merges with U.S. co

BANGALORE: Automated Workflow Pvt Ltd, an IT company based in Bangalore specializing in business process management (BPM) and enterprise content management (ECM), has announced its merger with the U.S. based Silicon Plains Technologies. The merger involves no cash deal, Similar domain strengths of the two companies are expected to give, Silicon Plains, the merged entity, an edge in ramping up share in the estimated $3-12 billion BPM and ECM market globally. The merged entity also becomes the largest global IBM business partner in the BPM and ECM space, said Sunil Savara, Executive Chairman and Director (Automated Workflow Group). Silicon Plains is already planning to ramp up its strength by 60 people from the current 120 on the way to achieving its targeted topline of $50 million in four years.
