Bangalore: The corporate world in U.S. is fast adapting to Google's Android operating system. Android's corporate market share has increased five times over the past nine months, according to survey reports by ChangeWave. RIM's Blackberry however still dominates the market by a big margin. Even with this lead, Blackberry too has experienced a drop in its share by three points since May this year. Corporates favoring Android OS will mean good news for device makers like Motorola and HTC, who run their devices on Google's flagship OS. In fact, the market looks ripe for these two device makers especially. ChangeWave Vice President Paul Carton said, "We project that there will be two big momentum winners over the next 90 days: HTC and Motorola." The two are cashing on in the growing demand for Android OS run devices by the corporate sector. Carton shares HTC has increased by six points in terms of corporate buying plans. This is an all time high for the company which produces Android run devices like the HTC Evo and Droid Incredible. Motorola, which has experienced a three point increase, is also enjoying significant purchases from corporate America. Among its popular Android products are the Droid X and Droid 2. With increasing criticism against Blackberry across the world, looks like corporate America is slowly shifting shores toward the Android OS. Although Blackberry still is the market leader, it needs to pep up its strategies to ensure Android does not take it over in the near future.
