Airtel, RIM unveils Blackberry Pearl Flip

Mumbai: Airtel and Research In Motion (RIM) announced the launch of the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 smartphone in India. The smartphone is now available at Airtel authorized channels all over the country. Priced at 21,990 the smartphone is now available at Airtel authorized channels nationally. Salient features of the BlackBerry Pearl Flip smartphone include a large keyboard and internal display along with an external display for previewing calendar reminders, email, text messages and phone calls at a glance. Customers can easily share pictures, check the latest sports scores and post on social networking sites, including Facebook, YouTube, and MySpace. Additional features include a 2-megapixel camera with digital zoom, flash and video recording, stereo Bluetooth support, and an easily accessible expandable memory card slot for up to 16GB of additional storage per card.
