APC appoints Pankaj as country general manager

BANGALORE: American Power Conversion, a leading global data center infrastructure and power protection company, today announced that Pankaj Sharma, Country Service Manager, APC India, has been
promoted to Country General Manager, ISB region (India, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh).
"I am delighted to make this announcement about Pankaj's new role," said Leanne Cunnold, General Manager, APC, Asia (South). "Pankaj has pioneered many initiatives in his role as the Country Service
Manager. We are confident that under his leadership, APC will continue to deliver industry leading solutions and service to our customers and partners throughout the ISB region," She added.
As Country General Manager, Pankaj will be responsible for overseeing the sales, service and marketing aspects of APC business for India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Maintaining leadership in the UPS market, further strengthening solutions in the Enterprise space and most importantly educating the IT community on the newly launched APC InfrastruXure (ISX) solution, would be amongst his key tasks.
"Pankaj has demonstrated excellent leadership skills in his role as the Country Service Manager and has been key in APC becoming an industry admired service organization. I am confident he will take APC India to greater heights "said Anand Iyer, Sales Director, APC, Asia Pacific.
Pankaj was the Country Service Manager at APC for 3 1/2 years and prior to that has worked with Godrej GE. Pankaj is a national award winning engineering graduate from Nagpur University.
