#8 Vinod Khosla

Vinod Khosla was one of the co-founders of Sun Microsystems, and served as its first CEO and Chairman. Born in New Delhi, Khosla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi. He formed his own firm, Khosla Ventures, which focused on venture investments in various technology sectors, most notably clean technology and is one among the tech leaders in the United States.

#8 Vinod Dham

Popularly known as the ‘Father of the Pentium chip,’ Vinod Dham contributed a lot for the development of the highly successful Intel’s Pentium Processors. He did his graduation in Electrical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and was born in Pune. He is also a mentor, advisor and investor; and sits on the boards of many companies leading them in the race.

#7 Naresh Wadhwa

Holding a degree in Engineering in Electronics from Mumbai University, Wadhwa served as the President of India and SAARC Region of Cisco Systems, since 2007 till 2013. He left the job to find Varz BuildOn, a venture that uses technology to build next-generation infrastructure and was successful in the technology sector.
